Week 4
Autumn Term 1 - Week 4:
This week, we have been continuing to write an informal letter to Gran from the point of view of Michael in the novel, Kensuke's Kingdom. We discussed the use of contractions within informal writing and how the letter would contain quite 'chatty' language. In maths, we have been learning about multiples and factors. Using hundred squares, we found common multiples and common factors of different numbers and also learnt some different rules of divisibility. As part of our art topic, we continued our learning about surrealism and focused on the artist 'Dali'. After researching information out about him, we have begun to re-create some of his famous images within our sketch books. These will be completed next week.
