Week 3

This week in our Shared Reading Lessons the focus has been poetry. Our challenge was to try and name some poets and to also have a go at reciting a poem and learning it off by heart! 

We have been learning and rehearsing the poem 'On the Ning Nang Nong' by Spike Milligan. This is a silly, nonsense poem that we have really enjoyed reciting. 

 

We also read 'The Itch' by Michael Rosen and 'Please Mrs Butler' by Allan Ahlberg.
