This week we've been reading words with 2 and 3 letter blends! Some of the words we have read are stamp, spend, crept, twist, swift, crisp, blend, crunch, crust, squelch, string, scrap, scrub, strong, script, scrunch, grand
We've also learnt 4 new tricky words: were, here, little & says.
Other learning this week:
We've continued our topic on growing - and planted our own cress seeds. We read a story called 'Sam's Seeds' and then decorated our own plant pots with faces to grow our own cress hair! We're hoping to make some egg and cress sarnies at the end of this half term to enjoy!
We wrote instructions on how to grow cress and remembered to include all the things you need and also clear directions to follow.
In maths, we've recapped our numberbonds to 10, played lots of counting games and also completed missing numberstracks too.
On the Make & Do table, weve made our own beanstalks and castles out of junk modelling materials.
