We have made a great start back to the Spring Term. We really enjoyed sharing our news from the holidays and talking about the presents we'd had from Santa, the places we'd visited and the fun times we had spent with our loved ones.
In history this week, we have been thinking about the Great Plague and how people travelled during these times. We discussed how people travelled so that they could trade things with others and that this caused the plague to spread across Europe. We enjoyed looking at the ways that people travelled and drew some boats and carts of our own.
We also had a visit from Andy who came in to talk to us about road safety. We enjoyed learning about the different types of crossing and listened to the advice about how to stay safe when out and about, especially in car parks. We thought about the key words: Stop, Look, Listen and Think when crossing a road, especially 'look' as some vehicles are difficult to hear.
