Week 1
Autumn Term 2 - Week 1:
The first week back to school has now been completed and the children have now returned after their half-term holidays. In PE, Stedy Baker (ex-professional basketball player) has begun coaching the children in basketball skills which they have thoroughly enjoyed. The children received their new learning log homework tasks and have now begun to carry out these tasks at home.
The week ended with the Year 6 House Captains walking down into the village centre and joining the local WI members in an act of remembrance by the station. The children read their own remembrance poems and then laid a wreath of poppies in remembrance of those who have fallen in previous conflicts around the world.
