Week 4
This week was assessment week and the children have been working hard to show their individual progress in English and Maths. I was really impressed with their efforts and positive attitude throughout - a big well done Badgers!
We ended the week with a special visitor from Rolls Royce who completed a STEM activity with the class. Russ talked to the children about the role of an engineer and set up an investigation to create a working battery..... using potatoes!! The children were engaged throughout and used vocabulary and skills already learnt in our electricity unit to answer questions.
A HUGE thank you to Russ for providing all of the equipment for the children to take home and taking the time to visit us.
