Autumn Term 2 - Week 3:
This week, the children have begun to write their flashback narratives based on The Piano animation. They thought about how the music affected the film and the impact this also had on the viewer. They are now halfway through writing these and will finish writing these next week when we will publish them on our class page.
In PSHE, we have been introducing the Zones of Regulation. We discussed the different colours that each zone represented and the different feelings associated with each zone. The children understand that it is OK to be in any of the zones, and are now discussing tools to move from one zone to another and how to recognise and regulate their own feelings.
